Privacy

The short version: your files never leave your computer, and PDFPane collects nothing about you.

The extension

Your PDFs are opened, edited and saved inside your browser. They are never uploaded, and never sent to us or anyone else.
No network. The editor makes no network requests. The one exception is the toolbar button on a web page showing a PDF: it downloads that PDF from the same site, once, so you can edit it — exactly as your browser already did to show it to you.
Stored on this computer only (in the browser's extension storage, never synced): signatures you ask it to remember, how many free downloads you have used this month, and your licence key if you bought one.
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no account.

When you buy, we keep an order record: an order number, the price, the payment status, the coin and the transaction reference that NOWPayments reports, and the licence key issued. We do not ask for your name or e-mail.
Payments are handled by NOWPayments under their privacy policy. We never see your wallet's private keys.
The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect it. We use no cookies and no analytics.

Removing the extension deletes everything it stored. For an order record, write to us through the Support tab of PDFPane in the Chrome Web Store.
