Type on a scanned PDF with no form fields

A scanned form, a PDF made from a Word file, a page someone printed and photographed: there are no boxes to click, so ordinary form fillers can do nothing with it. In PDFPane you click anywhere and type.

Step by step

  1. Open the PDF in Chrome and click the PDFPane button, or drop it into the editor. If it has no fields, PDFPane says so and switches to typing on the page.
  2. Click where the text should go and type. What you see is exactly where it lands in the file.
  3. Drag any text to line it up with the printed line.
  4. Use Tick, Cross or Dot for check boxes printed on the scan, and Date for today's date.
  5. Sign with Sign, then download a new copy.
